Curiosity running rampant, we tried to figure out what these guys were doing outside the pool area in the river portion of the falls area.
Turns out, they were catching crawfish.
Not that I would want to eat those, nor would I want to crawl around in Turner Falls looking for things with pincers living under rocks.
But, as they say, fun is in the eye of the beholder, and it was kind of interesting watching a couple of the little guys duke it out.
Apparently, these taste pretty good. I’ll have to try some of these sometime.
