It would appear that the war between traditional journalism and the blogosphere has begun. What’s funny is the fact that traditional journalism, in its complete disregard for leaving out the “investigative” part of investigative journalism has created a vaccuum for a grassroots media movement, and now, being corporate behemoths hell-bent on screwing the public, are attacking bloggers as fake journalists.

In instances like these, we in the blogosphere look towards the King of Fake Journalists, John Stewart, for attribution and a voice that will be heard. Last night’s Daily Show episode commented on a story broken by America Blog, regarding the lies and deceit about another fake journalist named Jeff Gannon, who has been in the news recently. Here’s a bit torrent link, and here’s an alternate of last night’s Daily Show in its entirety in Ogg Media format (you’ll need to be able to view Ogg files to watch). Thanks John for actually understanding just what a grassroots movement is all about.

Oh, and somebody has too much free time and money on their hands for superfluous domain name registrations. Want to send me some?
