We are all living rechargable lives.
We get slowly dragged down through our daily activities: Constant hell at work, derision amongst our home lives, lack of stability amongst our personal relationships.
We live weekend to weekend, waiting breathlessly for the time when we can simply relax, sleep in, play a game, read a book, or mindlessly watch a movie.
We take vacations in the year to give us “time off” from everything, and in doing so we try to “leave everything behind”.
Why do we do this? Why is that we can only afford to look forward to the times when we’re not simply surviving?
Why must we simply… survive? Why can’t we truly live?
Why must we spend so much time recharging? Why can’t we be full all of the times? Is this the definition of the human condition?
