And again, a personal favorite, a new recipe for ennui. It tastes so sweet… so, bitter, bittersweet.
Pre-heat personality to waning and emotionally exhausted.
Add one traumatic event to large mixing bowl.
Slowly fold in 3 months of emotionally charged nostalgic growth.
Let sit for two hours in cool refrigeration while brooding during Oklahoma thunderstorm.
Mix-in impromptu meeting with old good friend over coffee.
Add bitching and whining to taste.
Spread a layer of old memory-evoking photographs on top, allowing flavor to seep through.
Season with depressing music. Alternatively, use mind-numbing uncomfortable silences.
Heat at lethargy and creative death for three hours or until tripe-filled writings rises to top. Skim off and place in blog.
Let ennui cool for the next week, or until fretting over inability to write has dissipated.
Serves however many readers I have on this stupid thing.
